Managed WordPress hosting & migration

Faster, more reliable WordPress hosting

Managed WordPress hosting with daily backups, patch windows, uptime monitoring, and a written response SLA. We migrate you off whatever’s hurting now onto a host that fits your traffic and your budget, then run the operations so you can go back to your business.

Is this you?

Three hosting situations we see most

Hosting pain looks the same three ways. If one of these matches your Friday afternoon, we should talk.

Slow and shaky

Your site is slow, your Core Web Vitals are failing, and your host support is a black hole

Pages take four seconds to load on mobile. LCP is red in Search Console. Every time you open a ticket you get a rehearsed reply about "checking the server load". Nobody's actually looking at your site.

  • LCP over 4 seconds on mobile with no clear cause
  • Random 502s during traffic spikes with no post-mortem
  • Support tickets bounced back with generic "clear your cache" advice

Move to a managed WordPress host tuned for your stack, with a written response SLA and a human who reads your ticket.

Moving in

You need to move hosts without dropping a single visitor or breaking SSL

A previous developer set up the site on a random VPS. Or the agency that built it is winding down and handing you the keys. Or you've outgrown shared hosting and need to move up. Either way you cannot afford an outage, a bounced form submission, or a broken payment flow.

  • DNS and SSL cutover with a live checkout that cannot bounce a single order
  • Redirect map from an old permalink structure that must not break rankings
  • Plugin licences and API keys spread across three logins nobody has all of

Staged mirror plus scheduled cutover plus full rollback plan. Zero-downtime migration with SSL, redirects, and forms verified before traffic sees the new host.

Ops debt

You have no idea when the site was last backed up or who patches the plugins

The site works today. Nobody's actually run a restore in the last year. Plugin updates happen when someone remembers. There's no uptime alerting, no monthly report, and if it goes down at midnight you find out from a customer email at 9am.

  • No tested backup restore in the last 12 months
  • Plugins and core WordPress patched ad-hoc, not on a schedule
  • Uptime discovered by accident, not by an alert to a human

Daily backups with tested restore, scheduled patch windows, uptime monitoring with alerts to us, and a monthly report you can actually read.

Managed hosting, not a rented server

Managed WordPress hosting is a service, not a box

A cheap VPS with no support and a login you never use is not hosting. It’s a server. The moment WordPress core auto-updates into a plugin conflict, or a certificate expires, or a traffic spike knocks the site over, you find out at 2am from a customer email.

We run WordPress hosting as an owned service. Daily backups (with a restore we’ve actually tested), scheduled patch windows for core and plugins, uptime monitoring that alerts us before it alerts you, and a written response SLA so you know exactly what “we’re on it” means. If something breaks, we ping you before your users do.

How we work

Four steps from your current host to one that quietly works

Every hosting engagement runs the same loop. We audit what you have, we plan the migration around your traffic, we cut over without an outage, then we hand over.

1

01 · Audit

Current host, DNS records, SSL, plugin footprint, Core Web Vitals baseline, uptime posture, and backup posture mapped. Deliverable: a written audit naming what to keep, what to move, and what to fix on day one.

2

02 · Plan

Target host recommendation matched to your traffic and budget, migration window scheduled around your quiet hours, DNS and SSL and redirects plan, backup and monitoring and patch cadence. Deliverable: a plan document your team signs off before we touch DNS.

3

03 · Migrate

Staging mirror built and validated first, delta sync to catch orders and content that arrive mid-migration, DNS cutover in the scheduled window, SSL and redirects and forms verified before traffic sees the new host. Deliverable: a signed-off cutover checklist with the rollback plan on standby.

4

04 · Handover

Server access, backup restoration steps, SSL renewal calendar, DNS records, and a monthly uptime and speed report. Deliverable: a written runbook plus a recorded walkthrough your team refers back to.

Zero-downtime migration in practice

"Zero-downtime migration" is a checklist, not a promise

Every host promises smooth migrations. What that means in practice is where they diverge. We treat cutover as a defined sequence, not a marketing line.

Staging mirror stood up on the target host and pointed at a hosts-file preview so we can test forms, checkout, and integrations before touching DNS. Final content and database delta sync during the cutover window. DNS TTL dropped days ahead so propagation completes inside the window. SSL provisioned and verified on the target before the switch. Redirects loaded, tested, and monitored. A rollback plan we can trigger inside 15 minutes if anything looks off. That’s what we mean by zero-downtime.

What you get

Every hosting engagement ships these

A written record for every finding, every migration step, and every operational control. Nothing tribal.

Hosting audit

Current host, DNS records, SSL, plugin footprint, Core Web Vitals baseline, and support posture catalogued and ranked.

Migration plan

Target host recommendation, DNS and SSL plan, cutover window, redirect map, and a rollback procedure we can trigger inside 15 minutes.

Performance report

Core Web Vitals and page speed before and after the migration, per template. So the "faster" claim is measurable, not a marketing line.

Backup and restore procedure

Daily backups with an off-host copy plus a restore we have actually tested. Written recovery steps your team can execute if we're not around.

Uptime and response SLA

Uptime monitored with alerts to us first, response times documented per incident severity, and a monthly uptime and change report.

Handover runbook

Server access, backup restoration steps, SSL renewals, DNS records, patch cadence, and a monthly reporting rhythm. Written so your team can run the site without us.

Common questions

Hosting questions we hear most

Which WordPress hosts do you recommend?

It depends on your traffic, your stack (WooCommerce, LMS, membership, brochure), and your budget. We work with SiteGround, Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudways, and Rocket.net regularly, and we'll pick the fit that matches your actual load rather than the one that pays the highest affiliate fee. If you already have a host you like, we'll usually run the migration there and add the operational layer on top.

Can you migrate without downtime?

Yes. We stage the site on the target host first, run a delta sync to catch changes that land mid-migration (new orders, updated content), then flip DNS during a scheduled quiet window. Users see no interruption. Live checkout, forms, and integrations are verified against the staging preview before traffic sees the new host, with a rollback plan on standby.

Do you handle SSL, DNS, and redirects too?

Yes. Those three are where migrations usually break. We own the DNS cutover, provision SSL on the target host before switching, and load a tested redirect map so old URLs continue to resolve. We document every DNS record change so your existing DNS admin (or ours) can verify.

What does your response SLA actually cover?

Written, not marketing. Severity 1 (site down): we respond inside 30 minutes AEST business hours, 2 hours outside. Severity 2 (feature broken but site up): same business day. Severity 3 (question or planned change): 24 business hours. Uptime monitoring alerts us first, so most Sev 1 responses start before you file a ticket.

Do you also manage business email?

Yes. Managed email lives on a sibling page: /ai-automation/business-email-management/. If you're migrating both hosting and email together, we run them as one project so DNS cutovers, DKIM records, and MX changes happen in a coordinated window rather than two.

What happens after go-live?

You get 30 days of active hand-holding on uptime, performance, and support tickets. After that you can move to a monthly managed-hosting retainer (daily backups plus patch windows plus uptime SLA plus monthly report), or take the runbook and run it in-house. Your call.
