Website Design

Design as a discipline. Not a decoration.

Website design that earns its place. At Telada we build on-brand, intuitive sites that load fast, read cleanly across every device, and convert visitors into customers. Each phase ships an artefact you can hand to the next team.

Is this you?

Who this design work fits

We design for teams who need visitors to act, not for portfolio shots. If one of these sounds like you, we should talk.

Founder, first real brand

You need a look that grows with you

The logo was a Fiverr job. The site was a Squarespace template. Neither carries the story you now want to tell.

  • Every touchpoint looks like a different company
  • No system for typography, colour, or components
  • Handing design work to freelancers is slow and inconsistent

A cohesive visual identity your team can extend.

Marketer, refreshing

Your brand is fine. The site drags it down

Off-brand pages, dated stock imagery, and layouts that fight the message. Users bounce before they read the copy.

  • Landing pages that convert half as well as the ads driving them
  • Content and design that never really talk to each other
  • No design system, so every new page is a fresh negotiation

A site that lets the campaign do its job.

See our approach
Product team, scaling

You need a design system, not more pages

Every new feature reinvents its own buttons and forms. Engineering is quietly frustrated. Design debt is compounding.

  • Components live in five places and none of them agree
  • Accessibility is patched per-page, never systemic
  • Design QA takes longer than the design itself

A shared design system that ships to your Git repo.

Craft & conversion

Design carries your brand and earns every conversion

We build the visual language from the ground up. Typography that reads on any device, a colour system that holds together across pages, and components that snap into your build without rework.

Beautiful is not enough. Every element earns its place, so slow, cluttered, or off-message pages never make it to launch. Design and conversion are decided together, at wireframe stage, before pixels are pushed.

How we work

From brief to handover in five phases

You review at every phase, so surprises happen on paper, not on launch day. Each phase names the artefact it hands to you.

01

Phase 01 · Brief

We map your audience, your brand voice, and the outcomes each page must earn. Deliverable: a written brief you sign off before wireframes start.

02

Phase 02 · Wireframe

Structure first. Content hierarchy, page flow, and interaction states before pixels are pushed. Deliverable: mid-fidelity Figma frames.

03

Phase 03 · Visual

Typography, colour, imagery, and components take shape against the wireframes. Deliverable: high-fidelity Figma pages in every state.

04

Phase 04 · Prototype

We stitch the visual pages into a clickable prototype your team uses to catch friction before development starts. Deliverable: shareable Figma prototype link.

05

Phase 05 · Handover

Design system exported, tokens documented, components spec'd. Your build team walks in on day one with everything they need. Deliverable: design system plus handover doc.

Artefacts

What a design engagement hands over

Every project ships the same core set, so your team can extend the work without us in the room.

Discovery brief

Audience, goals, success criteria. Signed off before design starts.

Wireframes

Content hierarchy and page flow for every template, at mid-fidelity.

Design system

Figma library. Typography, colour, spacing, components, and states.

Page designs

Every screen in every state (default, hover, error, empty, loading), ready for development.

Component specs

Behaviour, states, and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility notes at the component level.

Design tokens

Colour, type, and spacing exported as CSS custom properties, or JSON if your stack prefers.

Common questions

What people ask before starting a design job

Do you design without building the site too?

Yes. Many of our engagements ship a Figma library and design system for another team to build. We hand over tokens, specs, and a walkthrough so your developers can move without us.

How long does a design phase take?

A brochure site design usually runs four to six weeks across the five phases. Larger sites (product areas, complex flows) can run eight to twelve weeks. Timeline is set in the brief, not guessed after.

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. If you already have a brand book, tokens, or a design system, we extend it rather than rebuild. If pieces are missing (component states, accessibility notes), we fill the gaps.

What tools do you design in?

Figma for design and prototyping. Files stay in your Figma workspace, no lock-in. If your team prefers Sketch or Penpot, we can adapt.

How do you handle accessibility?

We design to WCAG 2.2 AA. Colour contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader landmarks, and focus states are decided at wireframe stage, not bolted on before handover.
